| Transport Project Manager (Logistics / Healthcare) to 42k St Dustan’s is a charity whose vision is to ensure that all blind or visually impaired ex-service men and women are given the emotional and physical support required to enable them to lead independent lives. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Transport Project Manager. Position: Project Manager (Transport / Logistics) Location: London (Marylebone) OR Ovingdean, Brighton (or work from Home) Salary: 42k (pro-rata) Duration: 3 month fixed term contract Please Note: This role will involve travel to both the London and Brighton sites and a limited amount of travel to Sheffield. Therefore you can be based at London, Brighton or you may choose to work from home. Closing date:12 noon Friday 12th February 2010 Interview date: Friday 19th February 2010 ROLE: The Transport Project Manager will be responsible for conducting a study and analysis of the current transport operations undertaken by the Transport Department, as detailed in the Transport Review Project Brief, and produce a full report with conclusions, recommendations and implementation plan. RESPONSIBILITIES: a) Research and analysis of existing Transport department as detailed in project brief. b) Examine and recommend improvements to existing service support measures to improve business efficiency. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: a) Extensive project management skills. b) Ability to manage and prioritise a complicated project. c) Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence decision making. d) Presentation skills. e) Demonstrable analytical skills. f) High level of computer literacy including planning, prioritisation and presentation software. g) Project management qualification or equivalent vocational experience. h) Full project management from inception to delivery of implementation plan. i) Implementing logistics solutions. j) Managing relationships with stakeholders including third party suppliers and contractors. k)P roject management and planning principals. l) Demonstrable experience in Logistics. m) Knowledge of business process management. n) Quality Management Systems. o) Healthcare sector experience would be a bonus.
